I was new to Photoshop in the mid-90's, so please forgive the crudeness of this image where I pasted a New Orleans Streetcar onto Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta.
And here I put one going away at Piedmont Ave. and 10th Street. This one was used to illustrate an article I wrote for
Georgia Engineer about the future of Streetcars.
This was a proposed image worked up for me to be used as a brochure cover to help promote the idea of a streetcar on Auburn Avenue. The idea we were working on was for a semi-autonomous organization, "The Atlanta Street Railway Company", to build and operate streetcars in Atlanta.
The present "Atlanta Streetcar" organization, which is housed within city government, is similar to our idea.
